Tony Mingo
President/CEO
Prior to founding vWise, Tony Mingo served for eight years as a
vice president in Financial Services Organizations, most recently
as First Vice President of Investments at UBS Financial Services,
Inc. Mr. Mingo's experience managing more than $80 million for
private individuals and companies prompted the idea for vWise.
Prior to his work in investments, Tony was the Managing Director
of Vena Engineering in San Jose, CA. His role included taking the
company from a start-up with seed capital to profitability in 18
months. Vena Engineering continues to thrive today. In addition,
Mr. Mingo serves on the Foundation Board at Mission Hospital in
Mission Viejo, CA.
Gregory Newman
Chief Operating Officer
Gregory Newman started his career as an editor
for a daily newspaper serving the Los Angeles legal community,
and as a writer and illustrator serving national agencies such
as Alcone, Chiat Day, dGWB, DMB&B, and Foote, Cone & Belding.
From 1991 to 1993 he served as Advertising Manager at Procom
Technology, a provider of network-attached storage solutions,
helping grow sales by 283% and preparing the company for a successful
IPO. He left Procom Technology to found Apollo Communications,
an advertising agency serving fast-growing technology clients
such as JVC, Vision Solutions, Emulex, CMS Peripherals, The Irvine
Company, Rainbow Technologies, and Alpine Electronics. In 2000,
Mr. Newman joined Island Data, a customer support ASP as part
of an executive management team recruited with Series A funding.
There, he helped transform them into a focused, customer-driven
company, evidenced by a 569% annual revenue increase and honor
as "Top 100
Companies to Watch in 2001" by industry
peers. Mr. Newman holds a B.A. from the University of California,
Santa Barbara, and a J.D. from Chapman University School of Law.
He is licensed to practice law in California.
P.J. Palmer
Vice President, Production
P.J. Palmer is a filmmaker based in Santa Monica, California,
where he runs his independent film company twenty2 media.
He began his career at Warner Brothers working in production
on the TV series ER, where over several years he was mentored
to become an actor, director and producer. He has acted in live
theater, television series, national commercial campaigns, and
feature films including Lions Gate's The St. Francisville Experiment.
He has produced and acted in several award winning 35 mm short
films. Current works include a documentary on the Hurricane
Katrina relief effort, which he filmed on location while embedded
with the American Red Cross in the days and weeks following the
hurricane.
Alan Godfrey
Vice
President, Sales - Enterprise
Before joining vWise, Alan Godfrey worked most recently
as a mortgage lender in Newport Beach, where he and his business
partner generated over $800 million in mortgages from 2001-2006
and earned a ranking as one of the top 50 loan officers in the
United States. Prior to that, Mr. Godfrey spent a decade as founder
and operator of a chain of children's retail stores called Rag
Baby. Mr. Godfrey began his career at CB Commercial as a commercial
real estate broker. In Mr. Godfrey's younger years, he was a professional
tennis player.
Shannan Mingo
Vice President, Client Services
Shannan Mingo has spent her career managing accounts for employee benefits firms, including CIGNA HealthCare for 15 years, where she supervised relationships with large corporate clients like Chevron, Intel, Harrah's, and Fluor Daniel, and led a team of more than two dozen account managers.
David GorslineVice President, Customer Service
Before vWise, David Gorseline served as a manager for the
city of San Clemente, California, where he was responsible for
office operations and managing the city's relationships with its
business partners. Prior to his work with the city, Dave held
customer services oriented positions in various industries. |
